So many messages coming through as word gets out that Dad finally let go this week, and has been released from the horrors of Lewy Body Dementia. So I thought I’d post an official notice of Dad’s death.
Dad breathed his last breath late on Monday night, and today we said goodbye to him at St John’s Cathedral in Sligo & he was laid to rest beside our beautiful Mum Frieda in Sligo Cemetery.
Huge & sincere thanks to all who cared for Dad at Nazareth House Care Home for years, to everyone who turned up to his removal & funeral, to Matthew & Daryl for coming to sing him farewell, and to so so many others for their love & support! Forgive me for not mentioning more by name – but THANK YOU.
