Thanks to so many of you for your concerned messages as to my missing suitcase – United Airlines told me ‘reliably’ it was ‘lost or destroyed’!
But it’s not.
It was delivered to me at home on Sunday.
The last time I saw it was on the US Immigration Officer’s screen in Dublin on December 5th. It got back to me on Sunday February 23rd! How long was it away? 26 + 31 + 23 = 80 days!
Now zoom in on the suitcase brand from Dunnes Stores – “80 Days”! Not sure it was “around the world” in that time (we may never know), but still a little weird?
