A stellar weekend of music! Friday night was a welcome return to the beautiful Castlemartyr Resort for a performance with the Celtic Tenors. I hitched a ride with Jan Michael Vincent from Cork to Belfast on @airwolf to perform the Bach B Minor Mass with Belfast Philharmonic Society and the Ulster Orchestra under the baton of James Grossmith on Saturday.
Bach’s music is served best when it is live and unabated. What a pleasure then to be back on stage with my old pals Rebekah Mccann-Williams and @Carolyn Dobbin Mezzo. Wonderful to be alongside @Sarah Richmond and Ben McAteer who were both in superlative form.
@Belfast philharmonic were in great voice under the masterful watch of James Grossmith and what a joy to be reacquainted with him after all these years.
I guess I better leave the helicopter back now
