Great sold-out show last night with the Dungannon Choral Society at The Burnavon Theatre in Cookstown. Tonight we are back at the Roscommon Arts Centre!
En route there now & decided to take a 2 mile diversion through Ballisodare, where they’ve opened up the falls & river a bit more, as part of the new ‘Yeats Trail’.
This is the river which is mentioned in “The Salley Gardens” – the river (as you can see) is more interesting than the ‘gardens’ (field!).
“In a field by the river, my love & I did stand”……..
