First jab done! 😮

Finally the light shines brighter at the end of this ever-extending tunnel.
Today was the day I was supposed to register for my Covid-19 jab, but because of my hospital trip within the last 12 months, I was pushed up the queue a few places, so am just back from my GP having had my first jab.
I know I’ve a few anti-vax ‘virtual friends’ who have warned me that “the government are trying to kill us”, that “the Pfizer vaccine is particularly dangerous”, that “my immune system will be gone”, etc etc.
But do you know what? I’m happy to take the risk. It’s my choice. And I’ll hopefully soon be able to see people & travel again……. Thanks to my own GP practice in Weaver Square, and to the INCREDIBLE front-line crew!
