For a long time I didn’t work on my dollhouses. The big buildings are both ‘under construction’. In the living room the parquet flooring became bumpy and had to be removed. Unlike to real houses, everything was glued together here and there. So I had to remove the wallpaper too😢. The other building was still empty.
I am not going to make it in a special period. That would limit my possibilities. I like to mix old and new. A house from the beginning of 1900 didn’t have a shower. When I have some old utensil I want to have somewhere in the ‘modern’ house, it was something I inherited :-).
For now I start like it was the first time. Here I ‘ll try to write about the development. Once children played with the dollhouse. Als0 things were damaged for other reasons.
Enough work 😉.
Someone is working on two shops.
The ‘Arkwright & Nephew Shop’ will be a cloths shop or boutique. Also selling bags, jewelry and maybe even special perfumes. (Of course) I will change the name.
The ‘M. Poppin’s Shop’ will get another name too. What kind of shop that will be? No idea yet😊.
Well it are all just thoughts.
At first photos of the current situation.

At the bottom left is the place where you enter the big house. Bottom right will be the housing of a student. That is the planning now but you never know what is going to change.
One floor higher at the left is a kitchen. Think it must be ‘cosy’. At the right the living room.
Again one floor higher from left to right: bathroom, landing and master bedroom.
The three attic rooms were for the children, but they are living somewhere else now. If they come and like to stay, there might be room at the attic or at the B&B rooms in the building next door (again current planning).

Let’s start at the top. At the left is room for the gallery. At the right an artist can work or show his or her skills.
The middle part contains 4 small B&B rooms.
Downstairs will be a kitchen (left) and the room where the B&B guest can entertain themselves. In my head are already other plans for these rooms, but that will take a very long time.
