Alison Young – you were truly one of the good ones, on so many levels.
Thank you for being my repetiteur / accompanist through my college years, and way beyond, and for being one of those solid, no-nonsense, guiding, grounding voices throughout my musical & private life – a real friend & (labelled by yourself) – me “Dublin Mammy”! 
But I don’t want this post to be about me. You, and your shining legacy, deserve the limelight & centre-stage.
Thank you Alison for being unquestionably one of my biggest musical influences. It doesn’t seem right to talk of you in the past tense, but you will for certain forever remain in the hearts & minds of so many.
Rest in Peace Alison – me Dublin Mammy.
