At this awful time, we of course feel that things are bad for all of us. But just imagine how it must be for someone with Cystic Fibrosis, surely one of, if not THE most vulnerable group in the population. The disease significantly compromises the lungs in particular making them wide open to COVID-19.
Some very young kids with this disease, a few years back, pronounced it….like it sounds…”Sixty Five Roses” which gave the day its name and is why it leads us to focus particularly on children with the condition.
This year, because there has been no opportunity for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland to fund raise on the streets with collection buckets, it is at least €200,000 shy of its target. That is why we implore you to give something.
In support of this we, The Celtic Tenors will perform a special 1/2 hour concert next Friday, the 10th, at 8pm Irish time.
