Messages enquiring as to my marked absence from social media are becoming more & more frequent……. so I thought it was high time, and also courteous & respectful, to clarify.
Today I’ve been here in St Vincent’s for exactly a month! Hundreds of tests, blood-tests, needles, cannulas, drips, infusions, some truly horrific procedures, 7 Covid Tests (all negative), and finally some fairly major surgery, have hopefully at last found the answer to what was an ongoing problem. Daryl’s lovely warm (veiled) message in his last online concert (with Evie) now makes sense, eh? I’m still wading through loads of messages, so please for now don’t send more asking for details etc 
. I truly do appreciate those messages received, and your obvious love & concern, I really do. Thanks also to support from friends (one in particular 
) & family, neighbours, Mattieg & The Celtic Tenors, Carlow College of Music, the INCREDIBLE medical staff at St Vincent’s & The Mater (Frontline Crew ), and so many others! Already well along the road to a full recovery, and feeling great. Talk when I’m home, hopefully in a few days – YAAAAAAAAY!
